About
Michelle Gilley, a skilled and passionate midwife, has always had a deep connection with the world beyond her own borders. Growing up as a third-culture child, she was exposed to different cultures and ways of life from an early age. This unique upbringing sparked a desire to experience midwifery in different parts of the world.
Michelle’s journey in international midwifery began at the New Life International School of Midwifery in Davao City, Philippines. The school provided her with the opportunity to learn and practice midwifery in a diverse and vibrant setting. This experience only fueled her desire to seek out more clinical experiences outside of the United States. After working on a maternal and infant healthcare project in India, Michelle found herself back in Oklahoma. Inspired by her experiences abroad and driven by her passion for midwifery, she decided to take matters into her own hands. She founded Mosaic Midwifery in 2015, located in Oklahoma City.

Mosaic Midwifery offers a comprehensive range of prenatal care services to ensure that you and your baby receive the best possible care throughout your pregnancy. They offer individualized home visits as well as office visits during your first trimester. They also offer regular monthly visits until you are 28 weeks pregnant. In your third trimester, they offer biweekly visits up to 36 weeks, and then weekly visits until birth.
When it comes to labor and birth, Mosaic Midwifery offers a variety of options to suit your preferences. Whether you choose to give birth at home or at the OKC Birth & Wellness Center, you will be provided with the guidance and support you need.
Mosaic Midwifery also offers hydrotherapy, waterbirth, and land birth options for those who are interested in alternative birthing methods. They also offer postpartum care to ensure the well-being of you and your baby. From nutrition support to ensure you and your baby are getting the nutrients you need, to holistic health support that takes into account your overall well-being, Mosaic Midwifery truly cares for the whole person. If you need lab work or genetic screening, they can take care of that too. They even assist with newborn screening and birth certificate filing, making the process of welcoming your baby into the world a breeze.
