The foundation for my attention to detail and discipline is attributed to this sport. After 13 years, I retired from my gymnastics career and pursued my next goal: to become an engineer. I graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management and began my engineering career in the oil and gas industry.
While I pursued my engineering career, my husband encouraged me to begin taking photography courses, something he knew I wanted to do. I quickly fell in love with photography and I knew that was what I wanted to do professionally.
I am now a mother of two beautiful children. Motherhood has given me so much more perspective, value, and passion for capturing all of the memories that go so swiftly. Every mother and child has a beautifully unique story. Nothing channels my creativity more than documenting authentic moments for other mothers and children to cherish for a lifetime.

Erika took extra time and effort with my baby to make sure I got the photos that I really wanted. My toddler absolutely enjoyed being at the in-home studio, as Erika made it a lot of fun for her! I wanted photos that captured our new family of 4, the sibling bond, and the sweet details of a newborn baby. Our expectations were exceeded.
I wore one of the dresses from Erika's wardrobe, and baby had an outfit from her wardrobe as well. Both of which were great, because that meant I did not have to plan what we would be wearing! We did both our maternity and newborn pictures with Erika and we LOVE her! The product of her work is not only stunning, but working with her was effortless. She offered us multiple locations to chose from, both indoor and outdoor, and provided picture references for the locations.
